Pharmacy & Fulfillment

Last updated: October 2, 2026

ForbiddenRx is a telehealth platform, not a pharmacy. We do not stock, prepare, or dispense medications. When a licensed provider approves a prescription through the Service, the prescription is routed electronically to a licensed United States pharmacy that fills and ships the medication directly to you.

Pharmacy Network

Prescriptions through ForbiddenRx are written by licensed providers in the Arora provider network and fulfilled through the GEN Health pharmacy network, which routes each prescription to a licensed United States pharmacy, including 503A compounding pharmacies for medications that are personalized to an individual patient’s needs. Pharmacy assignment depends on the medication, your state, and operational availability within the network.

  • All pharmacies in our partner networks are licensed in good standing in the state where they operate
  • 503A compounding pharmacies operate under the supervision of licensed pharmacists pursuant to patient-specific prescriptions
  • The name, address, and telephone number of the specific pharmacy dispensing your medication appear on your prescription label and on your order and shipping confirmation
  • You may also request your dispensing pharmacy’s details at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support@forbiddenrx.co

503A Compounded Medications

Important disclosure: Some medications offered through ForbiddenRx are compounded by 503A pharmacies. Compounded medications are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA does not verify the safety, efficacy, or quality of compounded preparations. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacist for a specific patient pursuant to a valid prescription from a licensed provider, in accordance with Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

Your provider will discuss the rationale for any compounded medication and the alternatives available to you, including FDA-approved options where they exist. You may decline a compounded medication at any time and request that your provider consider a commercially available alternative.

When Medications Are Dispensed

Medications are dispensed only after:

  • You complete a telehealth evaluation with a licensed provider
  • The provider determines that prescription medication is medically appropriate for you
  • The provider issues a valid prescription
  • The receiving pharmacy reviews the prescription and confirms it can be safely filled

A pharmacy may decline to fill a prescription based on its own clinical or operational judgment, in which case your provider will be notified and may issue an alternative.

Shipping

  • Shipping is included in your treatment price, shown in full before you pay
  • Some temperature-sensitive medications ship with cold-chain packaging
  • Shipping times vary by pharmacy and your location, typically 3–7 business days from approval
  • Tracking appears in your dashboard and by email once the pharmacy ships your order

Returns and Refunds

Federal and state law generally prohibit the return of dispensed prescription medications. Once a prescription has been filled and shipped, it is non-returnable and non-refundable. If a shipment is damaged, lost in transit, or arrives in unusable condition, contact support@forbiddenrx.co within 7 days of expected delivery and we will work with the pharmacy on a remedy. See our Terms of Service for the full refund policy.

Adverse Events

If you experience an adverse reaction or side effect from any medication, contact us right away at support@forbiddenrx.co or (888) 355-4248 and we will reach your provider. For medical emergencies, call 911. Adverse events involving compounded medications may also be reported to the FDA MedWatch program at fda.gov/safety/medwatch.
